Moving to Canada as a new family, we knew hockey wasn’t just a sport—it was a culture, a community, and for many, a way of life. But we didn’t fully understand what that meant… until this season.
As first-time hockey parents, everything was new. Early mornings, cold rinks, learning the rules, figuring out gear, and watching our kids step onto the ice with excitement (and maybe a few nerves). What we found wasn’t just a game—it was a family.
The Braves U11 team became more than teammates. They became friends, supporters, and a group of kids who showed us what hard work, teamwork, and pure joy look like on the ice.
This song captures that journey.
It’s not just about the wins—though those moments were unforgettable:

And of course, every team needs rivals—the Hawks, Rangers, and Knights—who pushed the Braves to be better every game.
But at the end of the day, this song isn’t about beating anyone.
It’s about:
Falling in love with hockey
Building confidence
Learning teamwork
And having fun every single time they step on the ice
For us as parents, this season meant everything. It showed us what it means to be part of a hockey community in Canada—a place where kids chase dreams on frozen rinks, and families come together to cheer them on.
